Canadian vfr sectionals. Wac or not shown on wac. The thing is there are 52 sectional charts for canadian airspace while there are only 6 tacs. Do you think you could set up a fund that could be used for the regular acquisition of canadian aeronautical charts for posting on skyvector. Each page will have a link to view a detailed map showing the different areas that are available.
I ve been looking at canadian vncs vfr navigation charts and they look surprisingly different from us sectionals. When a symbol is different on any vfr chart series it will be annotated as such e g. Appropriate notes as required may be shown. The vfr navigation chart vnc is used by vfr pilots on short to extended cross country flights at low to medium altitudes and at low to medium airspeeds.
Please select the type of chart you are looking for from the list below. A big difference seems to be how the airspace is designed but there seem to be a lot of other differences in how information is displayed. For example here is the denver class b airspace. Canadian airspace individual units of designated canadian airspace are not nec essarily shown.
The chart displays aeronautical information and sufficient topographic detail to facilitate air navigation through the use of a unique colour scheme and layer tinting. Symbols shown are for world aeronautical charts wacs sectional aeronautical charts sectionals terminal area charts tacs vfr flyway planning charts and helicopter route charts.
